Last day of Preschool

My little punkins last day of Preschool was today. Bittersweet for sure!!!! She has been there since birth and the most amazing Christian women have helped raise her there. James and Iboth took it pretty hard. We baked a caked last night (well Faith baked it) to take to school for her friends and teachers. It was so sad picking her up today with her nap mat, blankets, change of clothes, all her pictures etc etc. I can't imagine the thought of never taking her back there! She has learned so many things and has been in such a good, nurturing, Christian environment for so long. Wow...I do not want her going to public school! Are they going to talk ugly to my baby??? Best not! Our little princess is growing up and there is nothing we can do about. I can look back and say that we have cherished every waking moment though :)

I am back folks! Took a break from this for a while, I think I was too wrapped up in myspace. Now that Myspace is gone, I am back here. Seems like a more clean, refreshing way to chat. I enjoy making the pages etc, and I cannot do that on facebook! Hope to find more friends on here as I do not have that many right now :(

Playing the Easter Bunny

My little Faithy, always keeping me entertained :O) Her teacher tells me a story yesterday morning too good not to share! Her and her 2 partner's in crime at school (Kinsley and Stephen) are in the slide treehouse thing on the playground last week. The teacher is out there just cleaning up sticks etc and the kids poke their heads out and say "Miss Brandy Miss Brandy, guess what..we are playing Easter Bunny!" They were being so good, Miss Brandy thought aww how cute, "well just keep playing nicely" she said. About a minute later Morgan the drama queen of class runs frantically up to Miss Brandy and says "Oh no That IS NOT the easter bunny they are playing with!!! It is a dead squirrel!!!" So the teacher runs into the treehouse just in time to catch Stephen poking the poor thing with a stick. Faith swearing up and down she never ever touched it! lol! I hope not! I ask Faith about it last night and she says they were just trying to wake it up because it was asleep! Moral of the story....beware if your child is ever playing the Easter Bunny!!!

PreK :)

Faith Nicole had her 1st day at PreK today :) Happy and Sad day. She is at the same Church daycare she has been her whole life, but it is officially PreK now. So mommy was fine until she came home with her lil folder today with her lil name on it and her number, #3. Inside, her work and a paper to fill out "about me". When it says what are you good at, she says talking. lol! Then it asks what you want to be when you grow up, and she says....A great mother like you mommy, OMG..I cried and cried. They just grow up way too fast, I cant believe how big she already is. I wish they could stay little babies swaddled in sweet smelling baby blankets forever :)

So we were suppossed to have this huge tropical storm this weekend, so went grocery shopping Friday night (rush hour 5pm) on the way home from work. Made James meet me to help me with Faith admist all the chaos. Stocked up since we would be stuck in the house all weekend! Then went to bed Friday night nervous about what I may awake to! Got up saturday and nothing more than a light drizzle outside, so James kept saying....It just hasnt gotten here yet honey, be patient. Well it never showed, today is gorgeous..James is out mowing the grass and Faith is going swimming soon! What a dissapointed to what they worked us up for all week! I was hoping we would flood and work would be closed Monday! lol!
